This year, the fete was held on Saturday 17 October 2015 at the Parish with excellent results. People started to come in around half past seven in the morning and while we were slowing down at 1 pm there were still a few folks hanging around trying to get some bargains. Each of the following stalls did their very best trying to break their previous sales records. Well done parishioners.

To sum up this year’s fete, followings are heart felt thanks from the organiser and a sincere reply from Graham.

An email from Helen to us all:

I am writing to thank you all for your efforts and support in preparing for and running today’s Fete. God was very kind and provided us with a glorious day to hold our fete and feedback from those I have chatted with said how lovely and friendly the atmosphere was. Looking at the people sitting around the table’s chatting and eating scones it did look like that .

The success of our fete is a result of the effort put in no matter how large or small-every bit of input and effort from across our Parish put together has provided a good result ( IT COULD BE A GREAT RESULT )but not sure what we made so I will say good but very effort is a great result-thank you .

As I do not have everybody email addresses of those that helped I would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this across the wider group of those that you know participated in any way today and I think that cover just about all as I know those not able to physically help were certainly praying hard for good weather and successful day and their prayers were answered!

Again many thanks for all your help.

Best wishes from Helen
